Aunt Dan and Lemon was a show by Wallace Shawn produced by the New York Shakespeare Festival in 1985 starring Kathryn Pogson as Lemon and Linda Hunt as Dan. The tremendously talented Hunt appeared in Poltergeist and in The Year of Living Dangerously with Mel Gibson where she played a male photojournalist. Her androgynous looks made her the perfect fit for the role of Aunt Dan who confides in her friend Lemon about her many romances with women and her intense longing for Henry Kissinger.
